Sponsored by the Dept. of Science and Technology, Govt. of India, the National Workshop on Ancient Indian Mathematics was organised at the Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeeth (a deemed University). Tirupati, India: September, 2010. A galaxy of well known mathematicians and renowned scholars from all over India were invited to deliver lectures on various themes related to Ancient Indian Mathematics, Astronomy and Vedic Mathematics. Incorporating the full text of a total of 16 presentations of the event—this proceedings volume is not only a research based academic illumination of the scholarly contributions of the ancient Indian mathematicians, but also a motivating invitation to the global researchers for further exploration of this vast historical field of knowledge.
