Dr.Jerome Vallabaraj sbd is a Salesian priest, hailing from tamil Nadu,(india).He holds a Doctorate in Thelogy with specialization in Catechetics and Youth Ministry from the Pontifical Salesian University, (Rome). In the course of his role as educator and animator from 1984, he was the Founder-Director of Deepagam, Don Bosco Catechetical Centte, (Chennai, India) till 1993. He was also appointed as one of the two member Central youth Pastoral team of the Salesians of Don Bosco, based in Rome, responsible for evangelization and Catechetics, and Salesian youth Groups and Movements, for the period 1996-2002. He is currently professor of Catechetics in the Faculty of Sciences of Education at the Pontifical Salesian University, (Rome), and also a member of the Executive Committee of the International Association for the Study of Youth Ministry.
