The present book Groundwater Pollution highlights the demand and crisis of water, need of a water policy, water management: practices, groundwater recharging through rainwater harvesting and also described the drinking water quality standards for various nations. The last segment of book reflects the impact assessment of industrial effluents on quality characteristics of groundwater and surrounding environment in and around Panipat industrial region in Haryana.
