But the recent attempt made by the scholars and policy-makers at the international level to relate this knowledge-based rights to the human rights framework is noteworthy. In on international initiative, the United Nations sub-commission on the promotion and protection of human rights, adopted a resolution addressing this topic at its August, 2000.
