The book deals with the public grievances at the District, State and Central levels. It analyses the nature of citizen's grievances and their underlying causes, the inadequacy of the existing administrative machinery of the existing administrative machinery for redress of citizens complaints, and shows how ineffective it is in providing relief and in inspiring the confidence of the people.
