Dr. Bipin Bihari Sinha's birth took place on the 25th April, 1942. He received his education at Ranchi from where he got his M.a. degree in History in 1961. Ranchi University awarded him the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in History in the year 1973. He taught History in the Honours classes in G.L.A. College, Daltonganj, from 1961 to October 1971, B.N. College, Patna University and Post graduate Department of History, Patna University, Patna from November 1971 till onwards. He joined Ptna niversity on 4th November, 1971. Author of a large number of papers, research arcticles published in the variuos Standard Journals of History. His main publications include: ughal Bharat, Delhi Sultanate, Madhyakalin Bharat, and Adhunik Great Birtain. His some famous works are in the press which are: Madhyakalin Europe, Madhyakalin Islam, Madhyakalin Vishwa, Madhyakalin Bhartiya Sabhyata aur Sanskriti, and etc. Besides his several books for the different classes of schools up to secondary level have been published also.
