The volume explores the issues of convergence between India and Vietnam and the scope for their future cooperation. It discusses the current positive outlook in Indo-Vietnam ties owing to high economic growth, scientific and technological capacity building, enhanced cultural contacts and an identical perspective on global and regional issues. Presenting the contributions at a seminar, it focuses on their economic relations, especially trade, investments and cooperation in energy sources; cooperation at political, defence and security levels; cooperation in science and technology; and potential for tourism.
