About the author

I. Sundar

Dr. I. Sundar is Reader in Economics, Directorate of Distance Education, Annamalai University. To his credit he has three postgraduate degrees viz., M.A. Economics, M.A. Development Studies and M.A. Sociology. He earned his Ph.D. degree in Regional Economics. Dr. I. Sundar has a passion for higher research and has to his credit 86 papers of which twenty-six have been published in international journals. He participated in a number of National and International conferences, symposia and seminars and presented 65 research papers. He has undertaken two research projects funded by the State Government and Central Government respectively. He has received gold medal award from the international society of ecological communication for his outstanding contribution in the field of research in environment and sustainable development.
