His Ph.D. Thesis captioned Diplomacy and War Technique was well received by the scholars of the subject. He has written eight books on various aspects of the subject. The founder President of Indian Association of Defence Analysts (India), Chief Editor of ‘Suraksha’-A journal of security studies, Dr, Sharma organized several National seminars on various aspects of national security.
