Y.S. Mathur

Dr. Y.S. Mathur is presently Associate Professor of Entomology, and In-charge of Durgapura Centre of All India Network Project on Whitegrubs and Other Soil Arthropods, in Rajasthan Agriculture University. The doctoral research of Dr. Mathur was carried out on ecophysiology of Holotrichia consanguinea, a major whitegrub pest of Rajasthan. He has participated in research programme of scarab management in peanut in Brisbane and Kingroy, Australia. Dr. Mathur has to his credit 35 publications, most of which are on scarabs. Apart from pursuing his research interest on soil arthropods, he is Principal Investigator of an operational research project on whitegrub management at Dausa, an endemic pockets of whitegrub in groundnut.
