This book records the conservation of about twenty five monuments and temples that have been conserved. The total number under the State Department of Archaeology is 89. But the monuments and temples in this include the Government Museum, Chennai the National Art Gallery, Chennai, the Devasraya Mandapa, Tiruvarur and two temples, the Ramaswamy Temple, Kumbakonam and the Naganathaswamy Temple, Manambadi, Kumbakonam Taluk, which are not under the State Department of Archaeology. The last three have been done as a labour of love as part of outreach activity.
