The Digest contains the entire case law of the Supreme Court since 1950 on the three most vital aspects of criminal jurisprudence, namely, Bail, Anticipatory Bail and Quashment. Relevant extracts from CrPC, 1973 and CrPC, 1898 are also included.

This digest has carefully considered all cases on the subject under the following provisions:

An addendum brings the case law covered up-to-date till Dec., 2010. A special feature is the inclusion of the complete text of the two leading judgments on the subject, namely 1) Shri Gurbaksh Singh Sibbia v. State of Punjab, (1980) 2 SCC 565 and 2) Siddharam Satlingappa Mhetre v. State of Maharashtra, (2011) 1 SCC 694.
